Intro to the Coverstitch Machine
with Cheryl Glassel
Date: Wednesday, October 30, 6:30–9:30 pm
Curious about what a coverstitch machine can do—and how it’s different from a serger or sewing machine?
In this hands-on workshop, Cheryl Glassel will guide you through the basics of setting up, threading, and operating a coverstitch machine. You’ll learn essential techniques like hemming knits, finishing edges, and creating professional-looking topstitching. Whether you own a coverstitch machine or are considering adding one to your sewing space, this class will give you the confidence to get started and make the most of its capabilities.
No prior coverstitch experience is required. Cheryl will bring her personal machine for demonstration during class, or you’re welcome to bring your own if you’d like to learn on it.
