Have you dreamed of making quilts? If you’re a confident sewist, you can become a competent quilt maker with the skills you’ll learn in the Beginning Quilting sessions at Sewing and Fitting Mentor.
Enjoy individualized, focused instruction in a small class of learners who share your interest in quilt making. Get started this fall and complete a project in time for holiday entertaining or gift giving.
Prerequisite: Beginner Sewing Lessons (an SFM class) or proven sewing skills, including proper use of a sewing machine, basic sewing terminology, pattern reading, and stitching consistent seam allowances
Beginning Quilting – Session II
Three classes – Oct. 30, Nov 6 & 13
9:30am to Noon
Cost: $75 for class, plus $17 class supply/material fee. For your convenience, you can add class supply/material fee to your cart at checkout or pay when you arrive for class.
You will also see an optional book & tools for purchase at checkout.
Project: A finished quilted table runner using blocks made in Session I
Pattern: Dancing Squares Table Runner - Click HERE to purchase your own copy of the pattern.
Alternative project: Bring your own “UFO” quilt blocks (or the ones you inherited from your grandma!) and learn how to complete a quilt top and finish the quilting process.
This session will cover:

**Rotary cutters, rulers, and mats are available for use in studio.
