Historic Linen Shift for Renaissance Season


Join us for a special two day summer sewing camp to create your own historic linen shift—perfect for Renaissance festivals, SCA events, or period reenactments! In this immersive sewing experience, you'll sew a beautiful and comfortable shift using traditional techniques and breathable linen fabric.

Restrictions

Participants must currently be 13 years and 11 months to 120 years old.

Historic Linen Shift for Renaissance Season

Join us for a special two day summer sewing camp to create your own historic linen shift—perfect for Renaissance festivals, SCA events, or period reenactments! Part 2 – August 15 & 16
Ready to level up your shift? This extended option is for returning or approved students who want to add fine finishing details like hand-felled seams, smocking, insertion lace, or embroidery. Students must first sign up for the Basic Shift Plus session and be accepted into the advanced class.

Bring your creativity, and we’ll bring the linen, guidance, and fun!

Must attend Historic Linen Shift- Part 1 (Aug 8 & 9)and be approved for Part 2.
