Make a small crossbody bag (9” x 5.75” x 2.25”) that can be worn
over the shoulder or across the body. The front pocket fits most phones
and is secured with a flap and a Kam Snap. Inside are custom-sized
pockets that hold items secure when worn across the body.
You will learn how to sew the pocket and pocket flap and add interior
net pockets. Then you will insert a #5 zipper on a roll into a gusset and
stitch the gusset to the bag around square and rounded corners. The
seams are then bound. The strap can be made out of self-fabric or
purchased webbing or strap. The strap is then attached to the bag and is
adjustable.
Sewing skills are for advanced beginners and above. A bring list will
be provided before class.
